Из имеющегося набора компонентов можно сказать, что основной его задачей является обеспечение поддержки для проигрывания совместимых с форматом MPEG-4 файлов. Содержит декодеры DivX, XviD, AC3 Filter (для декодирования звука), DirectShow фильтр VobSub (для подключения внешних субтитров) и популярный альтернативный проигрыватель Media Player Classic, а также дополнительные утилиты Video Inspector и DivX AntiFreeze.
